FBS at SUNY New Paltz Saturday Arts Lab

Flick Book Studio is evolving! Starting February 2014, all kids classes will be offered through other community organizations. Our first partner is Saturday Arts Lab at SUNY New Paltz, a community arts program offered by their art department. SAL is equipped with more than 20 iMacs and Macbooks, and they have purchased several webcams just for our classes! We are super excited that, by teaching through established institutions like SUNY, we’ll be able to teach larger groups with enough equipment for each student to make his/her own clip without having to wait for a turn.

This spring, we are offering an eight-week session for younger students in the morning (10am–12pm) and for older students in the afternoon (1pm–3:30pm). The session runs from February 22 through April 12. Full and partial scholarships are available.

Course description:

In addition to the above curricula, we have special projects in planning—collaborations with Lagusta’s Luscious and Dog on Fleas!
