Our studio is located in Saugerties, New York, near Opus 40. It is one of the two studios housed in a historic barn standing at the intersection of three roads. The barn is flanked by an old farmhouse which was a quaint French restaurant once upon a time, a multi-generational farm, and an old stone quarry.
In this pocket between Saugerties and Woodstock, time seems to have stopped decades ago. The gentle rolling fields, winding country roads, humming tractors, occasional motorcycles, all make you feel like you’re in a dream or a movie.
This setting is a perfect background for creative work. The small and cozy studio helps you focus intensely, but the minute you step outside, you instantly feel refreshed and energized. 
Flick Book Studio has a solid concrete floor (important for stop-motion animation), two large work tables, studio lights, a light table, and a large sink. It is equipped with a wide range of animation devices and supplies, including over 50 sets of Lego.
Besides Flick Book Studio, Highwoods Barn houses a music studio of Jon Notar. A professional pianist, composer, and producer, he is available for private piano lessons.
